Hands-down best laptop mouse I ever owned.,

This mouse isn't really the best mouse to use for a full-functioning multimedia-usage desktop like a MacPro, but it's a lot bigger than a tiny portable one. The mouse has a programable scroll-wheel button and an ambient blue light that really lights up a dark room.

Other than the physical features, Targus really stepped up the game here. Although it's not laser; but optical, it has excellent precision. Durability on this thing is amazing....I've had it for 4 years now. Outlasted 3 different laptops and outperforms my desktop mouse in terms of smoothness. This simple mouse is really all you need....no batteries, no retractable wire that gets stuck, and no installation cds...just plug and play. I don't even have a case for it..just put in inside a beanie and throw it in the backpack. Every day for the past 3 years it's been amazing me with its durability. I use it on my laptop to play some online games and it's very smooth, very precise, and very responsive, no lag.

Just a couple drawbacks...
1) It's not exactly the mouse you want to use for WoW. (not because it's optical, but because it has no side buttons)
2) It's precision is based on the pad you use. Does not work well on laser-mouse pads (ultra smooth, plastic coating pads) or plain paper, or a bare desk, but works EXCELLENT with a simple soft pad...like the kind we used in the 90's.

I absolutely loved this mouse.

For no reason, after 6 months of daily use. It just stopped working. Just like that... BAM

I loved it so much.. so im buying it again... but thats just me!!
if ur planning on buying it consider the fact that it will break soon. But it was work paying 14$ at Staples for 6 months of use. BC the mouse is so flexible and so nice and handy..

So im buying it again.

It is the perfect size to operate on a laptop on your lap. I liked it so well after a week that I bought a second one. However, after two months, the first mouse worked very poorly (scrolling a click-selecting were very delayed and intermittent) without completely dying.

I am on the same boat with people who rated low. This mouse died after about 6 months. If you are rich, keep buying this one and keep replacing. I am not, so I will buy another product as a replacement.
