Logitech Notebook Riser,
by bcblock, 2010-07-26
I love this stand! The swivel aspect is great, it's light compact and when not in use can be easily folded and stored away. I would have given it 5 stars but my only complaint is that I have a Macbook and it doesn't open at the right angle so I had to put something underneath it to prop it up correctly . . . So I guess that's not really a complaint about the riser, but more the computer. It was an easy solution and I highly recommend this product.
really liking this little guy,

I like this a lot, i was doubtful and even when i got it, was not sure. when i took it out, set it up easily, i use it a lot. I use it also when i go around to different locations, in a briefcase and fold it out, keeping it on the low angle using the notebook keyboard and works great. I like this. i use it with my mac at home and dell laptop with work pc
Perfect!,

I bought this stand because I was having back problems from leaning over to see my laptop screen on my desk. It has only been a few days and already my back is feeling better. Logitech makes some great products, and this is no exception.
The stand has three angles: 20, 30, and 40 degrees. It is really easy to adjust, and I have even been able to adjust it without taking my laptop off (be sure to hold it carefully if you do this though!). There are two little tabs that flip out from the front to hold the laptop. They seem very sturdy, and I have no fear of them falling off or of the laptop sliding. If you attempt to use the laptop keyboard, however, you will most likely--depending on the thickness of your laptop--have a problem with the tabs rubbing against your wrists (as some MacBook owners have noted). This is because this stand is designed to be used with a separate keyboard. It is not ergonomic to hold your wrists at such an angle any more than it is to have your laptop flat on your desk.
Also of note are the convenient places in the back of the stand to thread wires through. There are three of these of varying sizes.
Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.
Great low cost Stand,

I you are looking for a simple / easy to use stand this is the right product. It is made of a strong material, looks great and works perfect with my 14in LCD Notebook. Also has cable management on the back to help you clean you desk of power, network, usb and whatever you have hooked up to your laptop.
Great for laptops with rounded edges,
by Seacidal, 2010-07-02
After trying a couple of other laptop stands, this one did the trick!
I have a Toshiba laptop that has a slightly rounded edge along the front. Other laptop stands would not hold the laptop in place, and the rounded edge caused the laptop to slip off the stand. It nearly fell on the floor.
This stand has rubberized (really, silicone) gripping pads on its fold-up parts and they hold the laptop securely. The stand is well-engineered and very stable. It's sturdy and not at all rickety like some others.
A great buy.
