Unique design that works great,

This is a unique design that is ideal for my needs, a convenient "dock" for my MacBook Pro. Serves about as well as dedicated docks I've used in the past, with its built-in USB hub that easily allows fixed and temporary USB connections. I keep my wireless keyboard/mouse and printer, etc. plugged into it. Raises screen to a better eye-level. Also leaves bottom of notebook open for better cooling.

When I'm not running around town with my MacBook it's usually teamed up with my Samsung T240 and a whole host of other USB items, some of them require a powered hub. So I had countless hubs mounted under my desk and just got myself into cable overload. This satisfies my need to be cleaned up and clutter free for my workspace. It doesn't really match my MacBook but it does match my Samsung so it's found a home on my desk and I've suggested this to a few friends who had similar issues as me.

I bought one to use at my desk in the office and was very pleased - it's simple and practical solution plus it has build in USB AC-powered hub. This one I've ordered just week or so later after purchasing one for the office. I really like it, especially powered USB hub - it simplifies connection of so many USB devices I use and finally I can use multiple external drives because it has an AC-powered hub. It was an issue before when connecting more than one external drive to the USB ports on the same side of my laptop. Very pleased. Also, price-performance ratio is better than average.

I use this when I go camping to have a dock/stand for my 17" HP Notebook! It fits great, keeps it elavated and has usb ports that come in handy! I really love this and am glad that I bought it!!
