LOVE IT!!!!!,
by Outback72, 2010-09-03
Finally........a light that secures to the Kindle with or without a cover and has excellent brightness. There are 2 levels of brightness depending on where you are reading which has come in really handy. I find that it lights up the entire screen pretty much and depending on how you hold your Kindle, you can avoid glare on the screen with no problem. After spending tons of money on lights and has a drawer full of them to prove it, I am totally stoked with this light especially as it has the expander on it so I can attach it over my Kindle cover if I have the cover on. A+ in my book.
Very pleased,

I purchased this product for my wife. She loves it. So do I. Now when she reads at night, in bed. I don't have to try to sleep with the lamp on. Great product.
Works like a dream on K2US,
by Beth-Ann V. M., 2010-08-31
Bought this for my mom to use with the K2US. Has a nice floating hinge so it holds firmly on the K2 itself. She's using it with the mEdge Latitude case and has to take 1 corner out while she has the light attached becuase it wont fit stabily over the case and K2 but is just a little too thick to fit between the case and Kindle without removing the corner. However, since I didnt know if she would want to stick with the Latitude case or not (it was my old Kindle and accessories - so i thought she might prefer a different case), I didnt get her the mEdge eLuminator-2 but am just as pleased with the performance of this light as I was with the eLuminator. Great, true-white LED lights dont strain your eyes and light up the screen well. Even with less-than-optimal eyesight, she can use the light and be able to read the text.
now I can read my Kindle in low light,
by CW, 2010-08-31
I really had no intention of using my Kindle in low light environments where I would need extra lighting. But life has a way of changing things. This is a great device. The light is bright enough without disturbing people around you. The differences in brightness between high and low is pretty subtle but certainly adequate. I don't use it often so battery life has not been an issue, but it travels well and is easy to use.
Great little light,

I just got this, so I can't comment on things like reliability, battery life or durability, but so far I must say that I like this light. I used it for the first time last night and didn't really have a problem setting it up to avoid glare yet still provide a well lit Kindle screen.
I do like the clip as it seems to really just be an extension of the Kindle itself. I like that it slide on snug without pinching and no chance to accidentally clip it on to the screen itself as I've seen with some of the "clothes pin" style lights.
Some have complained that the light is too harsh and too bright, but I didn't find it to be so. Even on the high setting, I didn't find it blinding or harsh.
It fits nicely over my new Cole Haan case and Kindle together, so this is a nice plus, as well.
I just got back from a trip overseas and I wish I had this with me for the the 11 hour flight home so I could have read while the little girl next to me kicked me in her sleep. Being the nice guy I am, I never turned on the overhead reading light...maybe I should have, but this little gadget would have been a much less offending solution!
Well worth the money!
